831 persons held in a month

BERHAMPUR: Eight hundred and thirty one persons were arrested in Ganjam district within past one month. As per a release of the Ganjam police 551 were criminals who had non-bailable arrest warrants pending against them since a long time. Two noted criminals, Shankar Mohanty and Mitu Ram Behera of Aska area were booked under National Security Act during this time.
