Ration ice seized

VIRUDHUNAGAR: The Railway Protection Force personnel seized 720 kg of ration rice being smuggled in the Shencottah-Madurai passenger train here on Saturday. Twenty six bags of rice, concealed in travel bags and shopping bags, were seized from two coaches. They were kept under the seats, on the luggage rack, and near the toilets. No one claimed ownership of the bags.
