‘Glimpses – Husain to Today’

Bangalore: Art Mantram, and Roopsi Art Gallery of Udaipur will organise “Glimpses – Husain to Today”, an exhibition, at Welcome Art Gallery, ITC Windsor Sheraton, here from August 21 to August 25.
The exhibition will showcase works of artists such as M.F. Husain, Aparna Caur, F.N. Souza, Jatin Das, J. Swaminathan and Suhas Roy. For the first time, a “Buy Back Guarantee” has been offered for works of emerging artists. If the price of the work do not double in three years, the buyer can sell the painting back to the gallery at one-and-a-half times the price for which it was purchased.
Art Mantram will announce Mantram Award for young artists at the inaugural function.
Mantram-Roopsi Award 2008 will be announced with two cash awards and six scholarships.
