Balagokulam’s Janmashtami celebrations

Thiruvananthapuram: The Balagokulam Children’s Cultural Movement will organise nearly 5,000 Shobha Yatras in the State as part of its Janmashtami celebrations on August 23. In a press release here, Balagokulam general secretary V. Harikumar said concerts and competitions will be among the programmes. Water Resources Minister N.K. Premachandran; Adoor Gopalakrishnan, film-maker; Sukumari, actor; and K.S. Chitra, singer; will participate, the release said. — Staff Reporter
