Himachal identifies 20 accident points

Shimla: Alarmed by the increase in road mishaps every year, the Himachal Pradesh government has identified 20 accident points across the State, which are mainly on National Highways, especially Kalka-Shimla NH 22, State PWD Minister Thakur Gulab Singh said.

He added that he has asked the department to put warning signboards near these points. The State government has also drawn attention of the National Highway Authority of India on the issue and sought its help. –PTI
