TV anchor Shilpa Chakraborthy Playing the role of an anchor to the hilt, Shilpa Chakraborthy has more in the kitty for the viewers in coming days. The beauty with a chirpy presentation and a large fan following that stays glued to the small screen for her shows, has a presence that is hard to match. Consistent in her success, Shilpa is a sought after personality for all the channels and flick through any, she is sure to be there. Nine years is a long time on the idiot box but the dependable anchor has proved her calibre by maintaining the success streak with a series of shows that rank high among popularity charts. Tenacious to core, the pretty face is back with ‘Funday Awards’ on Gemini while ‘Mera Naam Joker’ is played on ETV. The earlier has scored big with the viewers and ‘Mera Naam.. .’ is set to reinforce the popularity for her. If the channels regard her as a sure winner for their shows, Shilpa with her vivacious presentations and a style unique to her, has ensured the same. TrendyThe trendy presentation among others has propelled shows such as ‘Lucky Lakshmi’, ‘Aata’ and ‘Clap Kottu Bosu’ to top rankings and garnered wide following. “I believe in giving my best to whatever I do and that way infuse certain freshness to each anchoring job that I take up,” she says. Happening are ‘2,22,222 Challenge’, a mimicry show and she is shooting extensively for ‘Cine Sandadi’, a game show for Vanita TV, an exclusive channel for women expected to go on air shortly.
