20-year-old held for assaulting minor

NEW DELHI: A 20-year-old man has been arrested for alleged criminal assault on a minor girl at Hari Nagar here. According to the police, the 10-year-old girl was on her way to a provisional store close to her house on Saturday morning when their neighbour Ravinder Singh lured her inside and criminally assaulted her. The girl told her parents about the incident and they reported the matter to the police. Ravinder, a driver, was arrested after the victim’s medical examination at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Hospital confirmed the assault.
