Round-up: A student speaking at the National Science Seminar on Water crisis on Earth held at Malar Matriculaton Higher Secondary School at Paramthi Velur in Namakkal district; and (below) students of Sri Vani Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Thoppampatti, in Namakkal district, who bagged the second place in the district-level throw ball event.

Trekking

Cluny Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Salem, organised a trekking programme for students in Yercaud hills recently.A total of 150 students participated in the programme, which was organised with the objective to create awareness among students on protecting environment.

Throwball

Sri Vani Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Thoppampatti, team bagged the second place in the throw ball event (senior category) in the district level meeting held in Namakkal district.Students from the school won second place in Kabadi, football and chess events (junior category). School correspondent, principal and teachers congratulated the winners.

Seminar

The National Science Seminar on the topic of Water crisis – Problems and Remedies, was held at the Malar Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Paramathi Velur in Namakkal district.Students studying Standard VII to Standard X from various schools participated in the seminar and presented papers. V. Ilamurugan bagged the first place and K. Kokila the second place. S. Chinnaraj from TNPL, Prof. V. Ragunathan and school’s Chemistry Dpartment director G. Balasubramanian were the judges.
