2 youths killed in road accident

KARUR: Two youths were killed and another injured in a road mishap near here on Monday.

Police said R. Velan (21), S. Satheesh Kumar (21) and N. Ragu (19) of N. Pudur and all workers in a bus body building unit near here were riding a motor cycle on the Manmangalam-C.M. Palayam Road when a van hit their vehicle.

While Velan and Satheesh Kumar were killed on the spot, Ragu was admitted to a private hospital where he was recovering.

Vangal police are investigating.
