Watery grave for deputy tehsildar

VIZIANAGARAM: G.M.V. Ramana (48), deputy tehsildar in Gantyada Tehsildar’s Office, reportedly slipped and drowned in Thatipudi reservoir while taking water level on Sunday evening. His body was fished out on Monday morning. Joint Collector B. Ramaiah visited the spot and offered condolences to the bereaved family members. He is survived by wife and two sons.

Regional Joint Commissioner (Endowments) S. Kondala Rao gave away ‘Uttam Seva Puraskars’ to employees for meritorious services rendered to the department at the Sri Pydithalli Ammavari Kalynamandapam on Monday.
