Go on leave, district surgeon told

Chitradurga: District in-charge Minister G. Karunakar Reddy has asked district surgeon G. Kamareddy to go on leave and ordered an inquiry into irregularities following complaints of mismanagement at the district hospital. Speaking to presspersons here on Monday, Mr. Reddy said that during his visit to the hospital, patients had complained that many doctors were demanding money before conducting operations.

District Health Officer Timmareddy has been asked to take charge of the hospital till the inquiry is completed.
