BJP demands arrest of councillor

ADILABAD: The BJP demanded immediate arrest of Ward 32 councillor Annapurna against whom a case has been registered for beating a pregnant woman resulting in her abortion. The councillor is alleged to have beaten up Sirikonda Lalitha, of Ranadivenagar when the latter questioned her about low compensation being paid for loss in the recent flood. -Staff Reporter
