Yamunanagar: A principal of a private polytechnic college on Monday allegedly committed suicide here. Tarun Batra (35)was being allegedly harassed by the police over a case filed by a girl two months back at Gandhinagar police station, family sources said. The police officers were reportedly demanding Rs.50,000 from Batra to hush up the matter or else he would be dragged into the case, the family added.
