Guidance cell for expatriate investment

Kozhikode: The Pravasi Investment Guidance Cell, under Pravasi Welfare Development and Cooperative Society Limited, was inaugurated by P.M.A. Salam, MLA, here on Monday.

Different industrial investment schemes, including a daily deposit scheme and a group deposit scheme, were also inaugurated.

Mr. Salam said an awareness campaign should be held among the average expatriates to educate them on the need for investing their earnings in some reliable projects in a systematic and judicious way. “It is high time we did something solidly in return to the non-residents.”
