KOTTAYAM: SN Trust HSS (Kollam) retained the girls’ title in the fifth Lourdaean Trophy all-Kerala inter-school basketball tournament at the Lourdean Public School floodlit court here on Monday. In the final, SN Trust defeated Municipal GVHSS (Thallassery) 53-45 after leading 31-19 at the half-time. SN Trust HSS’ win was fashioned by internationals Stephy Nixon (23) and R.K. Smruthy (13). The results: Boys (semifinal): St. Thomas HSS (Kozhencherry) 54 (Richard Baby 17, Arun Alexander 14, Jomon Jose 12) bt G.V. Raja Sports School (Thiruvananthapuram) 42 (M.R. Shinil Raj 23, M.
