BANGALORE: Ruth Misha set up a title clash with Jacqueline Kunnath in the women’s singles section of the M.S. Ramaiah-Anandashram state-ranking badminton tournament here on Monday. In the semifinals, Ruth Misha rallied to beat Saumya Padhye 9-21, 21-17, 21-11 while Jacqueline humbled Monisha Vinayak 21-14, 21-10. In the men’s singles, Aditya Prakash, S.D.S. Krishna, Mohit Kamath and Prakash Jolly entered the semifinals. The results: Men’s quarterfinals: S.D.S. Krishna bt M.D. Anup Kiran 21-8, 21-7; Prakash Jolly bt Romit 21-17, 16-21, 21-18; Mohit Kamath bt Sunil Verma 21-17, 21-17; Aditya Prakash bt Prateek Khurana 21-14, 21-12. Veteran men’s quarterfinals: K.P. Vasanth Kumar bt Ravindra Bhandari 21-8, 21-8; Vinay Siddaraj bt G. Manjunath 21-5, 21-7; G. Jayaram Pai bt C. Pramod 21-8, 21-11.
