Plea for foot overbridges

The Thennindia Nugarvor Padhukappu Sangam has urged the Corporation authorities to establish foot overbridges at Chathiram bus stand, Head Post Office, Singarathope, Teppakulam post office, Thillai Nagar 10th cross and Court areas in the city on a war footing to enable pedestrians cross the busy roads.

A resolution to this effect was adopted at the executive committee meeting of the Sangam held in the city recently.

By another resolution, the Sangam urged the state government to take steps to begin the construction work of Government Headquarters Hospital at Manapparai quickly, a press release issued here said.
