100 days in office: BJP plans a campaign

BANGALORE: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government, which is completing 100 days on September 9, has decided to launch a campaign titled “Jana Spandana” to mark the celebrations.

Under this campaign, the party will make aggressive efforts to create awareness among people about various development schemes taken up by the B.S. Yeddyurappa Ministry.

Disclosing this to reporters before the commencement of the party State office-bearers’ meeting in Bangalore on Monday, BJP State unit president D.V. Sadananda Gowda said the basic idea was to ensure that the development programmes of the Government reached people effectively.

Mr. Yeddyurappa told presspersons on the occasion that district in-charge ministers would create awareness among their respective districts on various government programmes.

He said the implementation of the development programmeswould be reviewed once in 100 days.
