Passenger held for impersonation

CHENNAI: A 35-year-old man was arrested by immigration authorities on charges of impersonation here on Monday. The airport police said V. Vaithianathan of Madipakkam came from Bahrain on an early morning flight.

When he came to complete the formalities, the authorities found that he was holding someone else’s passport.

He was handed over to the local police for further investigation. — Special Correspondent
