NEW MEDIUM: Shooting of the mobile phone film in progress

A team of young men here has made a 25-minute documentary film using a mobile phone. “Veenavadanam,” introduces Sujith Alungal, a young mural painter from Ayyantole. The plot develops through the conversation between the director and the producer, Satheesh Kalathil and Sujith. The film gives an insight into the evolution of different schools of art across the world. It was shot in four days. Sunil A.D. was the cameraman.

The successful completion of the documentary has given them the confidence to launch another mobile phone film project. This time, they are making a full-length movie called “Jalachhayam”, which deals with the lives of two artists.
