Reception for shooting coach

Nedumbassery: Professor Sunny Thomas, the national shooting coach who led the nine-member shooting squad of India to the Beijing Olympics and clinched top honours by scripting India’s first individual gold in Olympics through Abhinav Bindra, was given a grand reception on reaching here at the Cochin Airport on Tuesday evening.

His wife Josamma Thomas along with their relatives and friends, representatives of the National Rifle Association of India were present at the airport to receive Sunny Thomas who arrived here by a Jet Lite flight from Delhi.
