Airports Authority staff strike today

NEW DELHI: The Airports Authority Employees’ Union (AAEU) will observe a nationwide strike on Wednesday to press for its demands.

The AAEU has decided to join the general strike called by the Combined Public Sector Trade Union in support of their long pending demands, its general secretary M. K. Ghoshal said.

Services like housekeeping, including sanitation and fire control, are likely to be affected at Delhi airport by the 12-hour-long strike beginning 7 a.m.
