Ward bypolls: LDF wins 13, UDF 12

Thiruvananthapuram: The LDF has won 13 of the 26 local body wards to which byelections were held. Of the rest, 12 went to the UDF and the BJP one. While the UDF wrested seven wards from the LDF and one from the BJP, the LDF managed to wrest three seats from the UDF.

It was a seat won by the LDF in the last election which was wrested by the BJP this time. — Special Correspondent
