KPCC slams power tariff hike

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee president Ramesh Chennithala has protested against the hike in power tariff to be in effect from Wednesday. In a statement here on Tuesday, he described it as an ‘unexpected blow.’

He said the mandalam committees of the party would organise torch-lit processions in all panchayats on Thursday evening to protest against the tariff hike. — Special Correspondent
