ITC Infotech buys U.S. firm

Special Correspondent

BANGALORE: ITC Infotech, subsidiary of ITC, has acquired New York City based Pyxis Solutions, engaged in software quality assurance and testing services, in an all cash deal for $25 million. Pyxis has technical staff of 100.

Its centres in Bangalore and other cities employ 3,000 persons and the customer base covers North America and Europe.

“This acquisition places us geographically closer to a large client base and gives both cross-selling opportunities,” ITC Infotech Managing Director Sanjiv Puri told reporters here.
