GOOD SHOW: Students of Padmabhushan N. Ramaswami Aiyyar Memorial Polytechnic taking a look at the display boards in Tiruchi. — TIRUCHI: The day-long photo exhibition held at the Padmabhushan Sri N. Ramaswami Ayyar Memorial Polytechnic College for Girls in the city on Tuesday shed light on the struggles and achievements of Padmabhushan N. Ramaswami Ayyar Educational Institutions Managing Trustee R. Panchapakesan in developing them into reputed centres of higher learning over the years. The exhibition was organised in connection with the 73rd birthday celebrations of Mr. Panchapakesan and with the objective of motivating the students to achieve higher laurels. The motto of the exhibition was ‘When we see good pictures; when we hear good words; when we reminisce good deeds, we turn towards good path’. Over 10,000 students and 1,000 staff members of the Padmabhushan Sri N. Ramaswami Ayyar Educational Complex gained firsthand knowledge on how their institutions had registered growth in the past four decades under the able stewardship of Mr. Panchapakesan. “His hard work will help the youths to emulate real values in life he had adhered to in strict compliance with the desired goal,” observed a teacher. Many photographs presented not only his personal life, but also his social commitment towards the whole society in general, and emancipation of women in particular through higher education. Complex Coordinator Vasantha Panchapakesan inaugurated the exhibition and declared open the plaque depicting its motto.
