Diploma programme launched

It is meant for students of nursing and allied health sciences


Manipal: The Manipal Institute of Management (MIM) launched a new management programme, ‘Integrated Diploma in Management’ (IDM), for the students of nursing and allied health sciences. Pro-Vice Chancellor of thel university S.S. Pabla inaugurated the programme here on August 16.

Dr. Pabla said that the discipline of management helped students in building a strong career. He advised the students to make use of this facility. He emphasised the need for self discipline among students.

Director of the institute K.V.M. Varambally welcomed the gathering. H.G. Joshi gave an overview of the programme. Preethi Naresh Kumar compered the programme. Director (Admission) of Manipal University Udayshankar was present. Students who have passed their graduation in Nursing and Allied Health Science with 50 per cent aggregate marks and working as interns at Manipal are eligible for the programme.
