14 new dengue cases reported

New Delhi: Fourteen new cases of dengue have been reported in the national Capital this week, taking the total this year to 35, a municipal official said on Tuesday.

Among the 35 cases, 32 have been reported from MCD areas, two from NDMC areas and one from Delhi Cantonment, he said. The alarming increase in dengue cases came in spite of the MCD’s intensified awareness campaign to stop the spread of the disease.
