Agreement on Volvo race

KOCHI: The Yachting Association of India (YAI), the governing authority for sailing in India, will extend technical support to Volvo Ocean Race India Stopover, scheduled to be held in Kochi in December this year. A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Consortium of Cochin Port Trust and Kerala Tourism, the organisers of Volvo Ocean Race India Stopover and Yachting Association of India in this regard.

The Port Trust is getting ready to host the mega event of the year, which is scheduled to stop over in India from December 3 to 13.
