Norway gets new platform supply vessel from CSL

Kochi: Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) delivered a Platform Supply Vessel named ‘Sea Turbot’ to Deep Sea Supply, Norway, on Tuesday.

CSL executive director C.K. Thomas and Kjell Karlsen of Deep Sea Supply signed the protocol documents for delivery of the seventh vessel in a series of eight ships being built by CSL for the Norwegian shipping company.

The first ship in the series was delivered in January last year.

Made of the popular UT-755-L design, PSVs transport deck cargo, pipes, liquid cargo, cement and barite to rigs, production platforms and pipe-laying barges.
