This Day That Age
The University Grants Commission has sanctioned a sum of Rs. 41,600 to the Aligarh University, Rs. 18,000 to the Banaras University and Rs. 1,70,000 to the Delhi University for implementing schemes for the teaching of South Indian languages. It has also approved the scheme of the Madras University for the publication of an etymological English-Tamil dictionary.
