Staff Correspondent

HAVERI: The Government has sanctioned Rs. 17.5 crore each for construction of buildings for the three government engineering colleges in Haveri, Hadagali and Chamarajanagar, Minister for Public Works C.M. Udasi has said.

Addressing presspersons here on Wednesday, he said that in the wake of inadequate space for the engineering college at Haveri, steps were being taken to accommodate it in the zilla panchayat building.

The engineering wing of the zilla panchayat would be vacated to provide space for classrooms for the college that had started functioning, the Minister said.
