7Seas Technologies has launched seven education games, including one for testing English language skills

An online education game launched by 7Seas Technologies.

HYDERABAD: Playing adventure, racing and puzzle games online is an obsession for many. But imagine a game that tests your English language skills or the one that challenges your knowledge of geography.

The Word Master, a game hosted on the Net, tests the skill of the players in making as many words they can in a specified time. Any error would mean loss of life and restarting the game. Word Grill, yet another novelty, offers the players a crossword-like challenge asking players to complete the puzzle before the clock ticks out.

Education games

City-based 7Seas Technologies Limited has launched a suite of seven education games – for testing English language abilities to mathematical skills and one that tests mapping skills too. 7Seas Technologies, the IP based gaming content company, is already popular with gamers and housewives constitute a significant number of those hitting the site www.pnlinerealgames.com.

Not just the vocabulary part of English, the games also teach you about playing with phrases where users can choose alphabets missing in the exact saying, which has to be done in an allotted time.

Target audience

Math Fun is another new game that helps children learn the complexities of mathematical fractions through gaming. Players should ensure that the words they opt for are correct as any option for a non-existent word would make them lose the points they earned previously. “The content for the new games is developed in house and we are targeting the student community,” 7Seas managing director L. Maruti Sankar said.
