Dharna

CHIKMAGALUR: Members of the Communist Party of India (CPI) organised a demonstration here on Wednesday to protest against the policies of the Union Government, in response to a nationwide call.

They took out a procession from the taluk office to the district offices and staged “rasta roko” near Hanumanthappa Circle. They shouted slogans against the Union and the State governments and staged a dharna in front of the district offices.
