Award conferred

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited in a press release said P. Somaiah, a foreman working in Quality Control and Gas Turbines was conferred with the Prime Minister’s Shram Sri Award for the year 2006.

The award was presented in recognition of his outstanding contribution in development of machining techniques for Fr6, Fr9, 6FA shroud segments and 3D impeller machining on 5 axis machine.
