Five new dengue cases reported

NEW DELHI: Five new dengue cases have been reported in the Capital taking the total toll of cases so far this season to 41. Confirming the new cases, a senior Municipal Corporation of Delhi official said while the city was doing better than the previous years, the public needs to be vigilant because of the monsoon.

“We are carrying on with our awareness programme and are trying to reach out to as many people as possible. Our trained staffs have been conducting checks across the city to detect mosquito breeding and we are expecting the next report by Saturday,” said a MCD official.
