Seelampur SHO injured

NEW DELHI: The Station House Officer of Seelampur, Inspector Ved Singh Malik, was injured when a police team tried to stop some unauthorised construction on a disputed land on Thursday. “There is a dispute over a piece of land surrounding a temple at Seelampur and the matter is pending before the religious committee. The committee has stayed any construction activity on the land. On Thursday, the police received information that illegal construction was being carried out on the land by the temple authorities. When the police team reached the spot, a woman devotee hurled a stone at him,” said a senior police officer.
