Wife of retired Army officer injured

NEW DELHI: A 68-year-old wife of a retired Army officer was injured during a robbery at Ashok Vihar here on Thursday.

According to the police, four men armed with knives entered into the house of retired Major Shaan Singh Yadav on the pretext of cleaning the water tank and robbed Shakuntala Yadav of her jewellery. Ms. Yadav sustained cuts on her hands when she offered resistance. Her daughter-in-law Sunita Yadav and domestic help Sangeeta were also present in the house.
