Convocation ceremony of IIRM today

HYDERABAD: The city-based Institute of Insurance and Risk Management (IIRM) is convening its third convocation ceremony at Katriya Hotel and Towers, Raj Bhavan Road at 11 a.m. on Friday.

The students of fourth batch of International Post Graduate Diploma programmes (IPGD) in insurance and risk management will be awarded degrees at this function.

Pronab Sen, the Chief Statistician, Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, will deliver the Convocation Address and award the diplomas to students and J. Hari Narayan, the Chairman of Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA), will preside the function. The institute will also inaugurate the commencement of fifth batch of IPGD programmes and two-year PG course in actuarial sciences on same occasion, stated Vepa Kamesam, the Managing Director of the institute, in a media release.
