YSR’s copter lands on bypass road

NARSARAOPET: District officials and intelligence sleuths manning the security of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy had anxious moments after his helicopter was made to land on the Narsaraopet bypass road on Thursday afternoon.
Soon after receiving the communiqué from the security agencies that the soggy conditions at the helipad at K.B.R College would be unfit for landing, men of the Roads & Buildings Department and the municipality made arrangements for its landing.
Collector B. Venkatesham and Superintendent of Police Mahesh Chandra Laddha supervised the arrangements.
