Twins selected for AKKA meet

BANGALORE: Twins Archana and Chetana from SOS Children’s Village here are a happy lot.

For, the two, who have been practising Bharatanatyam for over a decade now, have been selected to participate in the “Association of Kannada Kootas of America (AKKA) Conference 2008” to be held at Chicago from August 29.

The sisters, pursing their 7th semester of BE in Information Science at Don Bosco Institute of Technology here, will leave for Chicago on August 27 to perform Bharatanatyam. Recently, they were selected as “B” grade artistes at Doordarshan.

Jet Airways is sponsoring their air travel of these two students.
