Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI: Maulana Azad Medical College has unveiled an ambitious re-development plan to accommodate the increasing number of students in the coming years. The medical college will see the expansion of its hostel facilities, library, research laboratory, administrative wing and the parking facility. Students will also be able to use improved computer networking facilities which will be enhanced under the project.

With the initial work having already started, the college authorities are now looking at the estimates that the PWD has to provide.

College Dean A. K. Agarwal said: “We are working at building our capacity to be able to accommodate more students as and when the Government directs us. We will be taking in additional undergraduate students each year. The enhanced hostel facility is expected to cater to 500 more students.
