Bronze medal winners congratulated
NEW DELHI: Acting Mayor and Sports Promotion Committee chairman Divya Jaiswal and Deputy Leader of House, Municipal Corporation of Delhi, Ved Prakash Gupta have congratulated Sushil Kumar and Vijender Kumar who won bronze medals at the Beijing Olympics in wrestling and boxing respectively.
Mr. Jaiswal said the MCD would accord a civic reception to gold medallist Abhinav Bindra and to these players on their return. Deputy Leader of House said all the three players would be introduced to talented sports students studying in municipal primary schools so that they could serve as an inspiration for them.
