A monthly power agenda

CHANDIGARH: The Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam and the Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam will implement an annual schedule to help consumers.

A spokesman said here on Friday that the Superintending Engineers would hold ‘Bijli Sabhas,’ on the fourth day of every month to redress grievances of consumers. On the seventh day of the month, officers would hold meetings with representatives of housing societies and industrial associations. The progress of works would be reviewed on the ninth day of the month.

The fourteenth day of every month would be observed as Energy Conservation day. The Executive Engineers would hold Open Darbars on the fifteenth of every month. The Superintending Engineers will arrange Karamchari Darbars on the twenty-first of the month to settle issues of the employees. The 25th day would be observed as Maintenance Day.
