Sri Kavitha Educational Society is registered under public societies Registration Act 1350F with registration number 1119 of 1991.

Over the last 17 years, the college is endeavoring to provide quality education to the rural youth of the district.

The philosophy of Sri Kavitha Educational Society has been to give back to the society what it got from the society.

In realization of its objective, this year Sri Kavitha Educational Society has set up a technical institution under the name and style of “Khammam Institute of Technology & Sciences” at ponnekal (v) which is just 9 km away from khammam town situated on the main road of khammam – Suryapet state highway.

The college has provided all modern facilities with a built up area of over 50,000 sft and got permission from AICTE, New Delhi and is affiliated to JNTU for offering B.tech. courses in CSE,IT,ECE and EEE streams.

The state-of-the art laboratories for computer programming, english language communication skills, electronic devices & circuits, Basic electrical & electronics, IT and engineering machines workshop are established in addition to the modern class rooms with all facilities to give new learning experience to the students.

Facilities

Sufficient number of well furnished modern class rooms, laboratories, library and other student facilities in a builtup area of 50,000 sft are provided as per the norms of AICTE and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.

Spacious drawing hall

A spacious drawing hall is provided for the practical training.

Library and Information Center

Over 5,000 volumes of text books, over 30 National and international journals along with news papers and periodicals are made available in a spacious reading room.
