Police release Afghan nationals

KOLLAM: The three Afghan nationals who were taken into custody on August 6 from a hotel at Kundara on charges of violating the Foreigners Act were released late on Thursday night.

The release of Mehboob Khan, Neek Mohammed and Mukesh Kumar, who remained in police custody for 16 days, followed a clearance from the RAW. They are now staying in a hotel near Kundara as they await air tickets to New Delhi.
