Chandra Dathan takes over as SDSC director

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: M. Chandra Dathan, Associate Director of the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) at Sriharikota, has assumed charge as the institution’s director.

A chemical engineering graduate from the University of Kerala, Mr. Chandra Dathan has 36 years of service in the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), according to a press release issued by the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) here on Friday. He had worked for 32 years in the field of solid rocket motors at the VSSC, before being posted at SDSC.
