IFFI: Goa cut up

Special Correspondent

PANAJI: Upset at the denial of more powers to Goa by the Directorate of Film Festivals in organising the International Film Festival of India, Chief Minister Digambar Kamat will soon lead a team to I&B Minister Priyaranjan Dasmunsi. The IFFI-2008 will be held between November 23 and December 2.

The state-owned Entertainment Society of Goa has joined hands with the DFF to hold the IFFI in Goa since the State was made permanent venue. But the DFF rejected the draft of a memorandum of understanding prepared by the ESG.
