MALAPPURAM: The Coconut Development Board (CDB) will organise the Malappuram Coconut Festival at Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Manjeri, on Sunday. The festival will mark the celebration of the success of the farmers’ cluster programmes, said CDB officials. M. Ummer, MLA, will be the chief guest at the function. The festival will mark several competitions for the farmers and their families, including an inter-cluster tug-of-war, painting contest for children, and craft with coconut products. —Staff Reporter
