Lifer for killing wife

BERHAMPUR: Testimony of a 10-year-old boy in Berhampur sessions court could get Chandramani Nayak convicted for the murder of his wife Bishnu Priya Nayak.

In 2006 Bishnu Priya was beaten to death and burnt up by Chandramani in the presence of her young brother, who was eight-year-old then.

Basing on the evidence provided by the boy as the prime witness and other evidences the Berhampur session court convicted Chandramani and awarded him life imprisonment.
